Picture
As a faith-based, neurodivergent Psychologist, I love working creatively and innovatively with children, adolescents, families and groups, and I specialize in the use of trauma-informed expressive arts therapy and play. Through this process, I help clients articulate feelings, explore relationships and experience self-fulfillment.
  1. One of the reasons I went into counselling was because of the power I've personally experienced from supportive relationships, even as a child. Being of Jamaican heritage and growing up in a small town in Canada, I had been bullied and alienated from my schoolmates for looking different; but a student named Helen noticed my pain and befriended me. We found strength in our connection, which I now understand is the foundation of a therapeutic relationship. I am honoured to be in a role where I can offer this connection to others, empowering them to find strength and providing guidance to heal.
  2. I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a friend. I like candy, going to the theatre, reading a good suspense novel, and I really enjoy travelling. But most of all, I love helping people on their journey to transform their lives and heal their minds, bodies, hearts, and souls.
