Michelle's Story

Picture
As a faith-based Psychologist, I love working creatively and innovatively with children, adolescents, families and groups and I specialize in the use of trauma-informed expressive arts therapy and play. Through this process, I help clients articulate feelings, explore relationships and experience self-fulfillment.

I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a friend. I was born in England, raised in Canada and I’m of Jamaican heritage. I like candy, going to the theatre, reading a good suspense novel, and I really enjoy travelling. But most of all, I love helping people on their journey to transform their lives and heal their Mind, Body, Heart & Soul.

One of the main reasons I went into counselling? When I was younger, I had a girl named Helen befriend me after I was being alienated and bullied for looking different. Together our souls became tied. We found strength and connection. It was then I understood, more than ever, how relationships bring strength and healing.
